Ca 1930 New York Womens Police Reserve Gold BadgenypdThis is an original ca. 1920s-1930s new york police department badge, for the women's ploice reserve. This gold shield type badge has an eagle on the top and p in the upper left corner nad d in the upper right corner. This badge has the city of new york heraldy emblem in the middle, with new york, women's police reserve acround the emblem. Badge number 1186 is in black enamel on the bottom of the badge. Measures approximately 1 ½ x 2 ¼ and has an old-style locking pin clasp on the back. Not hallmarked on the back. This badge si at least 75 years old, does not resemble any modern law enforcement badge and carries no law enforcement authority. This badge is for ihstorical collection purposes only and meets all of ebay's regulations regarding the sale of badges. Conditon very good used condition, pni works fine. Any yellow and/or white blob in the picture is a reflection of the flash and overhead lights.
